Front Door Mini Garden

I love the mini gardens next to the front doors of many homes, shops, and restaurants in Japan. Most homes and businesses in Japan have very little front space but many people make very good use of it with these pretty little gardens. This beautiful little garden is located in front of a home on a relatively busy street in Otawara, Tochigi-ken.

  2. Relatively speaking of course. :) Not as busy as in the big metropolis Utsunomiya. :-p

  5. And pretty well taken care of. Nobody messes up mini gardens like this there, which is nice.

Not saying my place is bad or anything, but I doubt anything that is not nailed down will be gone if this is done here.

  6. Yeah, most of them are pretty ratty looking. But some of them are really nice.

  7. Thanks Lina and Contamination for the comments. I agree not all look this good. And same here, if not nailed down, they would probably disappear.
